How does Group Purchasing Solutions save my company money?

By combining the purchasing volume of many companies into one multi-million dollar purchasing group, GPS has the ability to negotiate contracts with significant volume discounts from suppliers of products and services that companies need to operate their businesses. As a member of GPS, your company will have access to our pre-negotiated Alliance Partner contracts that provide exclusive discounts and services based on our combined aggregated purchasing volume, a level that is unattainable by an individual company.

How much savings can my company expect to realize?

GPS has successfully reduced costs for all of our member companies. Companies can save up to 83% on their monthly spend for products and services by utilizing GPS’ expertly negotiated Alliance Partner contracts.

Does my company have to be a member of GPS in order to access the program?

Yes. The contract pricing provided by GPS Alliance Partners is only available to GPS members. By becoming a member, you join a group of companies that collectively benefit from our aggregated purchasing volume and exclusive contracts.

Who is eligible to join GPS?

Any company is eligible to become a member of GPS. Our diverse membership ranges from small entrepreneurial businesses to large Fortune 500 companies.

Will my company’s information be kept confidential?

All member’s company and purchasing information is kept confidential. Your data will never be shared with any other organization. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

Are there minimum purchase requirements?

No, there are no minimum purchase requirements to take advantage of the GPS Group Purchasing Program. All companies, regardless of the size of their monthly spend, can join GPS and purchase through our Alliance Partners.

How do I place an order?

As a GPS member you will have access to our Members Only website where you can make purchases directly from our Alliance Partners. Simply login and you will find a complete list of our product and service categories as well as our Alliance Partners. Each Alliance Partner has an information page that will provide details about the benefits and discounts of their program and instructions on how to order directly from the Alliance Partner.

Can I only order online, or can I also make in-store or phone purchases?

Yes, most Alliance Partners offer the option to purchase online as well as in-store or by phone. Each Alliance Partner’s information page on the Members Only website lists the specifics of their particular program offerings and includes information about making in-store or phone purchases. For in-store purchases, Alliance Partners will provide a membership card to verify that you are participating in the GPS Group Purchasing Program.

How do I pay for purchases?

Your company pays the Alliance Partner directly for the products and services you purchase using their terms and conditions for payment.

How do I know if I am obtaining the GPS exclusive pricing and discounts when I order through the Alliance Partner’s website?

GPS Alliance Partners have provided hyperlinks to websites that are for the exclusive use of GPS members. The pricing and discounts on these websites have been verified to be in accordance with our pre-negotiated contracts with the Alliance Partners. If we find that an Alliance Partner is not honoring our pre-negotiated agreement, they will be dropped from the program.

Are the discount percentages based upon the size of my company or my monthly spend?

By aggregating our member’s purchasing volume, we are able to obtain the same discounts and benefits for all of our members regardless of their company size or monthly spend. Some Alliance Partners offer purchasing programs that are customized for the size of your company or monthly spend in order to offer the benefits and services that are most useful for your company.

Will I maintain control of my procurement activities when I join GPS?

GPS serves to assist, not replace, procurement. GPS manages the master contract which defines the pricing and discount structure. Members purchase and interact directly with Alliance Partners.

Can I still use my current vendors?

Yes, you may still use your current vendors. However, we are confident that you will find our GPS Alliance Partner contracts will provide your company with the highest level of discounts and services available. We strive to provide your company with a comprehensive selection of nationally recognized Alliance Parters offering a wide range of premium products and services.

How soon can my company start to make purchases and realize savings?


After you have responded to our membership enrollment email, and verified your email address, GPS will provide you with login information to obtain immediate access to the GPS Members Only website where you can make purchases at any time through our Alliance Partners.

What is the difference between the “GPS Monthly Specials” email and the “GPS Program Updates” email?

The “GPS Monthly Specials” email is sent the first week of each month. This email informs GPS members about exclusive special product and service offerings as well as additional limited time discounts provided by our Alliance Partners. The “GPS Program Updates” email provides information about exciting new Alliance Partners that we have added to the GPS Group Purchasing Program as well as other updates about the program which will benefit all member companies.

How can I cancel my membership?

If you wish to cancel your membership, please use our Contact Us form and make a request for cancellation in the comments box. Our membership department will contact you and process your cancellation immediately. Access to the GPS Members Only discounts will be discontinued upon your membership termination date.

I believe my company would be a good GPS Alliance Partner. How can we become a supplier?

GPS is always interested in finding new Alliance Partners to provide additional benefits for our members. Email us using our Vendor Partnership Opportunities Form and we will contact you to explore opportunities for your company to become a GPS Alliance Partner.
